Google Cloud is using Anthos and AutoML to differentiate itself from AWS and Azure

Google Cloud now is now using Anthos and AutoML to differentiate itself from market leaders Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, chief AI scientist Andrew Moore and product management director Rajen Sheth told VentureBeat. “If I’m running a small business or startup that is depending on the cloud provider’s technology, if I go with Google I can actually sell to customers the ability to run their models on premise, or on GCP, or other clouds, so this huge flexibility helps,” Moore told VentureBeat in a conversation with reporters Thursday.… Read more

Accentures Acquires French Google Cloud AI Consulting Firm

As Google Cloud Next opened today in San Francisco, Accenture announced its intent to acquire Cirruseo, a French cloud consulting firm that specializes in Google Cloud intelligence services. The companies did not share the terms of the deal.
